Noah's Ark is growing!

Hello all!
It's been a great week! I actually just arrived home a little bit ago from my 3rd workshop this weekend. I had a Bella Bee Glamour Girl Workshop yesterday for a precious 7 year old and her friends. We all ended the party looking fabulous and smelling like vine-ripened yummy grapes! Then, I had a fun filled Noah's Ark Workshop for a sweet 5 year old and 16 of her friends. The bunnies and the rainbow bears were the hit of the party. Then, today was another Noah's Ark Animal Workshop for another precious 7 year old girl and 11 of her friends and family. The white kitty and the tabby cat were the most popular today. All in all, many new cuddly friends were made this weekend.
I also had a new member join my team- welcome to Stephanie! Glad to have you on board!!!
And, finally, I was able to meet with 18 child care directors (at a local child care convention) and pass along some information about my company.
Oh, I also booked 2 more birthday parties for May and one more child care center for June.
I am going to take a break this week from workshops as I have to regroup (restock) and get in gear for this summer. I must set my summer schedule as to when to get forms to all of the child care centers (I have 24 child care bookings for the summer so far) and when to place orders.
Hope everyone has a blessed week!
Ciao!

Busy, Busy- Noah's Ark Animal Workshop

Hello!
I've been so busy. I had a super weekend of birthday party workshops! 3 GREAT parties! 3 GREAT children/families! I had all ages, this past weekend, as well. Friday night I had a workshop for a 13 year old. Saturday morning I had a workshop for twin 3 year old boys. And, Saturday afternoon, I had a workshop for a 6 year old girl. Each one was so fun and entertaining. Needless to say, it was a profitable weekend.
I have 3 more workshops this coming weekend in addition to a child care convention. I better be taking my vitamins!!! One of my parties this weekend is a Bella Bee Glamour Girl Workshop. That will be fun! I just love the Bella Bee parties. I love the girly stuff. Now, don't get me wrong, I do so enjoy the Noah's Ark Animal Workshops as well! It is just fun to "hang with the girls" every once in a while and be super girly!
Must go for now. My hubby is sick again. Must go play nurse for a while.
Hope everyone has a blessed week!
Ciao!

PS The $29 starter kit is back. People interested in joining Noah's Ark once again have the option of joining for $29 (with a few items to get you going) or $129 (with a lot of items to get you going). The $29 package is great if you are just wanting to do your own child's birthday party and buy the products at a discount.

Back to work!!!

Hello!
Whew! I love going on vacation, but it is always so hard to come back and play catch-up for a few days. It has been non-stop since I arrived back home. I had 3 great events this week and a ton of bookings! Yea!
First, I had an informational booth at a HUGE, and I mean HUGE, childcare convention here in Dallas. There were over 800 attendees!!!! It was non-stop talking for 6 hours. I think I made some good connections. I know I definitely spoke with many centers that were not aware of my services!!! I so enjoy attending the daycare conferences because all of the attendees are such sweet and caring people.
From the convention, I drove through a drive thru, picked up and ate lunch on my way to a super sweet 2 year olds birthday party! Very nice family and such a smart little girl for only being 2. Since I am done with having children, it is so nice to get my little girl fixes through my job!!!
I also had a great birthday party today. It was really nice because we were able to do the workshop outside. It was so beautiful here today. Anyway, there were 20 kids and it was a lot of fun. The adults were so nice and helpful and the children were so funny! You put a bunch of little boys together and it is one fun and crazy workshop!!! The dogs were the hit of the party today!!! I am totally wiped out of dogs. I just placed a huge order for the rest of my April workshops.
As for this up-n-coming week, I have 2 birthday party workshops. One smaller one on Friday night and a HUGE one on Saturday morning. I am actually hiring two teenagers to help me out on Saturday morning. It is going to be at a Country Club and we have to keep things moving along without any dead time.
Well, I am soooo tired and must get to bed before midnight! With it staying light so much later now, it really throws me off on bedtime. BUT, I don't have to get up early tomorrow. Yea! BUT, I bet my business phone will start ringing about 8am (it usually does on Monday mornings). Nice problem to have, though. So, ring away phone!!
Nite, nite!

Happy Easter!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Hello!
I am on vacation this week- visiting my family. I have taken a few business calls, as well as, done some work on the internet, but all in all, it has been a relaxing week. I did do a daycare workshop the day before I left town at a super nice child care facility. We made lots of ducks and lambs come to life just in time for Easter. Awww. :)
With Easter falling early this year, I will have plenty of time to head back to Texas and get busy on my summer bookings. I have 4 or 5 bookings so far, but my goal is at least 2-3 child care centers a week.
The Noah's Ark Animal Workshop convention is also this summer and I am so excited to attend again. This year it falls on the weekend of my birthday! Yea! So, I will be in Chicago for my 42nd birthday. My own little birthday treat to myself. The corporate offices also announced a contest this week in which we can win part or all of our convention fees, so I will be working on that goal, as well.
Well, must get back to relaxing. I hear a comfy couch and yummy Mexican food calling my name.
Adios!

Busy week!

Hi!
It's been a great week for business! I had a new member join my team (on my first level) from right here in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. I am excited for her because she has past home business experience and has been considering Noah's Ark Workshop for a while. I hope to be able to help her succeed in her new adventure!
I have also conducted 4 workshops this past week. One was a Bella Bee workshop for a sweet group of Girl Scouts! It was an awesome time because I was able to incorporate some of my own personal beliefs into the lesson. If I make a little itty-bitty difference in even one of the girl's lives that I see in my workshops, then it is all so worth it. The Bella Bee workshop creates such a great avenue for discussing real life issues in a positive manner.
The other workshops were all Noah's Ark Stuff-n-Fluff workshops. One was for a child care center. Wonderful children and teachers. I so enjoyed my time there. Another workshop was for a Brownie Troop. And the other was for a birthday party for a 3 year old boy. Here again, it was a great time had by all! And, the parents, troop leaders, and child care leaders are all so loving and caring. It is so unfortunate that our media coverage has us convinced that our society is full of horrible children, parents, and teachers. As someone who has been involved in teaching for 20 years and now Noah's Ark and Bella Bee workshops for going on three years, I have truly encountered 99% of the time, wonderful and sweet children with loving and caring parents and teachers. So many of my concerns for my own child are echoed in the voices of the parents and teachers that I come in contact with.
I have one more child care center workshop this coming week and then I am taking a week off for a much needed vacation.
I wish all of you a safe and blessed Easter week. May we all take a moment to think about what the Easter Holiday is really all about.
Ciao!

Great Team building week!

Hello All!

I didn't conduct any Noah's Ark Animal Workshops nor Bella Bee Glamour Girl Workshops, but I did have 3 new people join my team!!! One on my first level, one on my second level, and one on my third level! All in all, I have 36 people in my 3 levels below me! My goal is 100 by the end of the year. AND, since we are on this topic, this is the last week of the special $29 joining fee. Please feel free to visit my website: www.MakeYourOwnStuffedAnimal.com if you would like more info. Also, if you haven't looked at my website lately (or at all), they were just redone this week. I REALLY like the changes. I like color and "pretty" looking sites, and I think mine has both. Just a little biased, I know. :)

On a personal note, I will be heading off to my parent's home for Easter. BUT, before I leave town, I have 5 workshops. 2 childcare centers, 2 Girl Scout workshops, and 1 birthday party. Yea! Nothing like being able to leave town with some money in hand. Wow, what would I do without the income from Noah's Ark? Gotta' love it. This job has truly enabled me (and my family, of course) to do the extra things.

I also had only one free weekend open in April, and I booked a birthday party workshop for that this week, as well. So, now my next free open weekend is May 5th. Yea! Oh, and in April I have a new ad coming out with a local birthday party website. I am excited to see how that ad pans out. I bought it for a year as it is a top site when I do searches for local birthday party entertainment! A sweet brother and sister team run it.

Well, I am home alone right now, so I think I am going to get off the computer and do some brain vege-ing (watch tv). I don't watch much tv as I think most of the shows are just horrid. But maybe I can find a chick-flick on. :)

Have a blessed rest of the weekend and a glorious week!

Ciao!

Noah's Ark Animal Workshop

Hello!
It's been a nice, relaxing week. I didn't have any workshops this week. It is Spring Break here and things were slow. I didn't even have that many phone calls. BUT, I do have 2 new team members on my first level, and 3 on my second level. Yea! We have a special joining fee (starter kit) for only $29, so that is helping with recruiting. You interested- check out my website for more info: www.MakeYourOwnStuffedAnimal.com
So, the most awesome thing this week was seeing the Patriot Guard Riders in action. I was on my way to the nursery when I saw hundreds upon hundreds upon hundreds of motorcyclists heading down the highway with police escorts. AND, the entire freeway was shutdown. I was on the phone with my dad who told me that they are a group of motorcyclists that attend soldiers funerals! Wow- I had goose bumps from head to toe. Anyway, if you care to learn more info, just google Patriot Guard Riders and their site will come up. I applaud them!
Back to work this week- I have one birthday party workshop on Saturday. Also, I just placed a large order to replenish my stock, so I will be checking in inventory. That is fun, though, as my son helps me count everything and put it all away. He is such a great helper. See, what other job can your 4 year old child help you with? Only Noah's Ark Animal Workshop!
Well, must go finish up some last minute house work before I have to start dinner. Here's to a great and blessed week!
Ciao!

PS The picture above is a Noah's Ark hot air balloon. Just thought it made for a nice, peaceful picture. It was at the Albuquerque Hot Air Balloon Fiesta this last year. Enjoy.
